XScapade 08 - "All Access"

Prayer Wave ONE

Thanksgiving:The committee would like to thank God for this opportunity to serve in the youth ccamp and for providence of a suitable camp location.

Overall Camp Requests:
- For preparation of hearts of the youths in church as well as their
pre-believer friends, that through the camp and message that all may gain a greater understanding of grace and its objectives and respond accordingly (in line with the camp theme in Romans 5:1-5).
- That the message of the camp will be communicated effectively and clearly through the speakers and leave a lasting impression on the campers.
- For the camp to go beyond being a one-off event but firm friendships and relationships are forged through it.
- Above all, that God may be glorified in everything, be it the planning, execution of activities or the interactions between all the campers.

Prayer for youths in church:- For God to stir up the passions and excitement of the youths, both in service and participation in the camp.
- To take bold and intentional steps towards inviting their friends for the camp.- Even during the period now before the camp that there is a thirst and hunger to know God and His Word more and seeking to draw closer to Him.

Camp Comm prayer requests:
- For the committee to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit's promptings and that the planning of the camp will be in line with God's will.
- That the committee will be earnest and focused in seeking God and for them to be constantly reminded of the purpose of the camp and who they are serving
- God and His people.
- For good time management as the committee members have to juggle their external commitments in school and in their workplace as well.
